What’s Up? is a program of YO! The Movement, a non-profit, youth membership organization. What’s Up? was developed in a response to a Search Institute study commissioned by the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board in 1995. The study looked into the involvement (and lack of involvement) of Minneapolis young people in youth programs. What’s Up? has been in operation in Minneapolis since 1996 and St. Paul since 1998.

Call What's Up? between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, or between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and you'll probably talk to someone your age. All of our youth information specialists are between the ages of 16 and 18. They work with a computer database and a computer mapping program to find activity information or connect you to a Minneapolis youth program in your neighborhood.
